10th Burnahm Art Trail

21st-30th June 2014

Venue 6

Limes Farm Shop.

This year’s work is a deviation from my usual larger glass metal sculptures with a display based on the use of natural copper. The main exhibits are large scale leaves formed as shallow bird baths beaten from a heavy gauge copper. The other new works are fused and copper flowers.

All work is suitable for exterior or interior use.

Acer Leaf

This Acer leaf which is approx. 45cm dia. mounted on a sandstone river pebble is in natural copper finish. The natural copper starts of shiny but rapidly weathers to provide a multi coloured surface of greens, reds and browns toning and harmonizing with the garden plants. Note:Frog not included.

Caster Oil Leaf

This Caster oil plant leaf measuring approximately 45cm dia. mounted on a sandstone pebble has a lacquered natural copper finish allowing the final colour to be retrained without weathering.

This Acanthus leaf measuring approximately 56cm x 33cm and mounted on a sandstone pebble has been lacquered to retain is final colouring.
